We end the week with another great news! 🚀 📢🔬
Among the 47 projects in the POLONEZ BIS 3 competition, organized by the National Science Centre with a total budget of 48.1 million Polish Złoty, two proposals by ENSEMBLE³ scientists were selected as winners! The competition is aimed at researchers from all over the world who will carry out their projects in Poland.
Among them is the project of Dr. Mathias Anders Boström, who is a senior researcher working with the Center of Excellence. The project, dedicated to the research of applied Casimir theory: from Mesons to Environmental Effects, has received a grant in the amount of 1,072,295.00 złoty.

The second grant in the amount of 1,056,064.00 złoty will be used for the research of new 2D materials (2D pnictogen and palladium chalcogenides) carried out by Dr. Pradiap Kumar Roy within the research activities of the Functional Materials Technology group led by Prof. Dorota A. Pawlak.
