Great news to share! We've successfully relocated our Scattering-type Scanning Near-field Microscope (s-SNOM) to our state-of-the-art laboratories on Wólczyńska.
Our s-SNOM, a specialized piece of equipment worth over 1 million EUR, is the NeaSNOM by neaspec. It empowers us to perform near-field imaging and nanospectroscopy in both transmission and reflection modes. This cutting-edge system features:
A high-power, wideband, tunable UV-Vis-NIR light source Femtosecond Ti:Sapphire laser (Coherent Chameleon Ultra) integrated with an Optical Parametric Oscillator (Coherent Chameleon OPO), covering a broad spectral range from 350 to 3500 nm
A wideband, coherent infrared light source with an optical range from 5 to 16 µm
Integrated interferometer for simultaneous optical phase and amplitude detection
Remarkable spatial resolution of up to 10 nm
We'd like to extend our gratitude to https://www.comef.com.pl/ for their pivotal role in the equipment's relocation, with Jakub Śluzar from COMEF featured in the photos. On our side, the project was led by Piotr Piotrowski and Patrik Micek.
