Today we had the pleasure of hosting Professor Maria Mrówczyńska - Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education accompanied by Izabela Najda-Jędrzejewska - Deputy Director of the Department of Innovation and Development.
This meeting was an opportunity not only to discuss our achievements and plans but also to show our state-of-the-art laboratories.
In Functional Materials Laboratory and Materials Characterization Laboratory, we met with our scientists who provided insight into the topics of their research.
It was a great pleasure for us to demonstrate the live science practiced at E3, from tiny exhibits observed under the microscope to advanced equipment of considerable size such as Cyberstar pullers for growing oxide crystals and ECM's pullers for growing 3 and 4 inch A3B5 group semiconductor crystals.
As a scientist herself, the Minister asked truly insightful and detailed questions. Our scientific staff thus took genuine pleasure in sharing their passion.
There was also discussion about plans, challenges, and potential benefits for society.
We thank the Minister for her visit! Such meetings serve as motivation for us to continue working towards the advancement of science in Poland.
In the photos, our guests from the Ministry and Dorota A. Pawlak, Kingshuk Bandopadhyay, Emil Tymicki, and Mirosław Marek from E3.
