"PHOTONICS – A POLISH SPECIALTY IN GLOBAL ELECTRONICS" – that sounds impressive! This was the title of the sessions dedicated to photonics during the IV Congress of Polish Electrical Engineering organized by the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers.
During the opening session, as seen in the photos, Prof. Ryszard Piramidowicz (VIGO Photonics, Politechnika Warszawska) delivered a fantastic lecture. We were extremely pleased that he also mentioned Ensemble3 during his presentation.
We would like to highlight that the substantive partner of the Congress was PPTF - the Polish Technological Platform on Photonics, while Maciej J. Nowakowski, the director of PPTF and microEPC is a member of the Program Council of the Congress. This clearly demonstrates the rapid growth of the significance of the Polish photonics and microelectronics community.
On the first day of the Congress, discussion panel "Diamonds of Polish Photonics", moderated by the irreplaceable Maciej J. Nowakowski, covered topics such as Polish optical fibers, mid-infrared detectors, cascade and femtosecond lasers.
Therefore, we could not miss this event! E3 was represented by Prof. Dorota A. Pawlak and Małgorzata Mroczkowska, as seen in the photo.
