Science is constantly evolving, especially in times of change. Therefore, we are pleased to inform you that the Foundation for Polish Science has issued a new publication entitled "Science in Times of Change." How research funded by European funds helps protect us from global threats and seize historic opportunities."

The publication showcases the achievements of more than 30 distinguished scientists whose research has been supported by FNP under the European Union-funded Operational Program for Smart Development. The material contains five thematic articles related to research from various fields. It shows how, thanks to European funds, Polish science is responding to global challenges and opportunities, such as the pandemic COVID -19, the development of new materials, medical diagnostics and innovations, energy and ecology, and quantum technologies.

We encourage you to read in detail the article about our center's activities entitled "New Materials. From nanoscale to megastructures. Polish scientists create materials of the future". This article describes, among other things, innovative materials that can be used in various fields such as medicine or nuclear energy. Researchers supported by European funds are using the properties of matter at the nanoscale, observing nature and improving materials that have been used for millennia to open up new possibilities for human development.
