ENSEMBLE³ at Photonics21
In order to ensure that ENSEMBLE³ is at the centre of events in the area of photonics, research representatives of the new Centre of Excellence participated in the Photonics21 conference in Belgium. The meeting gathered together scientists and entrepreneurs working in the field of photonics from across Europe, but the list of attendees also included leading policy-makers from the European Commission. During the meeting, participants engaged in discussions regarding potential photonics research and innovation topics for the Horizon 2020 work programme 2018-2020 and the Framework Program 9 (FP9) as well as the major directions for the new photonics multiannual roadmap.
