The projects title is ECOSYSTEM (European COmonSupplYchain for Sovereign T2SL and infrarEdModules) and it will consolidate a fully European supply chain for the next generation of high performance Type-II superlattice (T2SL) infrared (IR) detectors for defence applications.

The project willestablish: the EU supply chain and roadmap forgallium antimonidecrystal growth and epi-ready substrates;the EU epitaxy supply chain and roadmap for the targeted infrared detectors;the development of a common post-processing readout integrated circuit bumping adapted for the complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor technologynode used;the design of improvedcryocoolers.
