🇵🇱 Polish Centers of Excellence are achieving impressive results in innovation!
"We put a lot of heart into our work. We care about science at the highest level, but also about utilizing our technological capabilities to ensure Europe's and the EU's technological independence." - This part of our President's - Dorota A. Pawlak speech, perfectly captures the spirit of the "Teaming for Excellence" conference, which took place on July 31 at the National Center for Research and Development.
During the meeting, the five-year activity of three Centers of Excellence funded by the Horizon 2020 program was summarized: Sano Centre for Computational Medicine, ENSEMBLE3, and NOMATEN. The event provided an opportunity to present future plans and exchange experiences between the "old" and "new" beneficiaries of the "Teaming for Excellence" competition.
In the recently concluded competition, three Polish projects received funding: "TRIO-VI" coordinated by the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, "AstroCeNT Plus" at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and "P4Health" by Łukasiewicz Research Network – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development. Congratulations!
In addition to the "teaming" project participants, the meeting on July 31 was attended by representatives of the Foundation for Polish Science, the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and the Łukasiewicz Research Network. Delegates from the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Ministry of Development and Technology, and representatives from the Research and Innovation Center of the Supreme Medical Chamber were also present.
