On November 15, 2024, President of Ensemble3, prof. Dorota Pawlak had the privilege of attending the first meeting of the Technology Council on Advanced Materials in Brussels 🇪🇺. This prestigious event, held in the iconic Robert Schuman Room of the Berlaymont building, marked the beginning of an important European initiative to shape the future of advanced materials.

Ensemble3 was proud to represent Poland as the only Polish organization from the science and innovation sector, joining leading global research institutions and industry giants. We were accompanied by representatives of the Polish government, including Mrs. Justyna Gorzoch, Head of the Technology Policy Unit at the Polish Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.

The Technology Council on Advanced Materials, established by the European Commission on July 5, 2024, is a platform for collaboration among Europe’s top research organizations and global industry leaders.

The discussions during the inaugural meeting focused on:

The role of advanced materials in industrial transformation,
Implementing innovative solutions in strategic sectors, and
Strengthening Europe’s leadership in cutting-edge technologies.
