Already on Friday all Warsaw will be filled with science! We will start the festival!
Meet the international team of ENSEMBLE3 Center of Excellence scientists working with light-based technologies in our labs!
WE INVITE YOU FROM 10.00 AM TO 3.00 PM.
133 Wólczyńska St.
Meet the international team of researchers at the ENSEMBLE3 Center of Excellence working with light-based technologies! These technologies are having an ever-increasing impact on our lives. Thanks to them, we can use high-speed Internet, develop advanced medical diagnostics, explore space, or work on new methods of energy generation.
Each of us owns some kind of electronic device such as a cell phone, a computer or a radio. Inside each of these devices is a piece of crystal. We hold it in our hands while we talk on the phone because that is the crystal on which the integrated circuit is built. In 1916, Polish chemist Professor Czochralski developed the method of extracting crystals that is most commonly used in the world today. This method is used to obtain crystals in the laboratories of the ENSEMBLE3 Center of Excellence.
We invite you to visit our Centre on the open day. On this day we will open our laboratories to visitors and show how materials with fascinating optical properties are created and how they are used for innovations in the field of photonics.
WARSAW SCIENCE FESTIVAL
The festival in Warsaw was the first Polish science festival. It was followed by other festivals of science, art and technology in other academic cities. The event is the voice of scientists who want to talk about science, share knowledge and discuss the latest scientific developments and issues in an accessible and encouraging way.
The festival events take place in places where scientific work is normally done: laboratories, studios and lecture halls.
